Most five-star hotels pour their creative energy into the lobby and the restaurant, then call it a day. ONOMA spent some of it on a room built entirely for play. Call it a gaming hotel move. We call it common sense. Welcome to the Playroom, quite possibly the only reason you will lose an argument about leaving the hotel.
What Is Actually in There
The Playroom comes loaded: a PS5 setup, a pinball machine, classic arcade games, a foosball table, and, for anyone ready to fully commit to the bit, a ball pool. This is not a token kids’ corner hiding behind reception. It is a proper hotel game room, designed to be used, by you.
Why ‘Serious Fun’ Is the Right Words
ONOMA calls the Playroom a space for guests who need to stop being so comme il faut and get into some serious fun. That phrase pulls its weight. This is not a room only for kids traveling with their parents. It is for grown-ups who would genuinely rather spend an hour on a pinball machine than scroll a hotel TV menu. Guilty? Same.
Who Gets the Most Out of It
Groups of friends tend to land here after dinner. Couples looking for something that is not another drink at the bar find it works just as well. And solo travelers, especially the digital nomads on our O_Nomads packages, use it to close out a work-heavy day without leaving the building. A hotel with a PlayStation hits different when you actually need the break.
Pair It With the Rooftop
The Playroom and the rooftop pool are an easy one-two for a full ONOMA evening: cool off and catch the sunset on the 8th floor, then head down for foosball and a few rounds of pinball before dinner. Between the two, there is very little reason to go looking for a night out elsewhere.
A Small Room That Says a Lot
It would have been easy to skip the Playroom and turn that space into another meeting room. We did not, on purpose. That choice is a pretty reliable signal of what kind of hotel this is: one happy to be a little different if it makes your stay more memorable. Serious fun, no apologies.
